Dustin Reneau founded Double R Services in March 2021, bringing nearly two decades of hands-on experience to the business. Starting at just 18 years old in 2004, Dustin ran heavy equipment for oil field and commercial dirt contractors, later spending time in surface coal mining before launching his own company. Based near Mooringsport in Northwest Louisiana, Dustin and his crew now serve rural landowners, property developers, and homebuilders across Northwest Louisiana and East Texas.
Double R Services is a family operation. Dustin runs the equipment and manages the jobs, his wife Melissa handles much of the office and administrative side, and his nephew works alongside him as a second operator. As the workload grows, the plan is to keep building the team and investing in the equipment needed to take on bigger projects.
Dustin’s favorite jobs are the rural ones — clearing land, building ponds, cutting roads into properties, and helping landowners turn raw acreage into what they actually pictured for it. That includes everything from opening up wooded property for hunting access to preparing house pads for new development. If a project involves moving dirt, there’s a good chance it’s something Double R Services can help with.
Rather than running leads through an automated, pre-qualified system, Dustin prefers to meet with customers directly, see the property, and talk through what they’re trying to accomplish. That means getting to know the people behind each project instead of just checking boxes on a work order. For work outside the core services — like asphalt or concrete driveways — Double R Services also works with a small network of trusted contacts to help get the job done right.
